Jada's 2nd Birthday Party

For Jada's 2nd birthday party we got this Elmo Jumper and had it set up in out backyard. She had a lot of fun playing in it with all of her cousins and friends.

Here's Jada. She is such a doll. I love all of her curly hair. Rarely do I ever put it up because I think the ringlets are so cute coming down into her face.

This is big brother, Kishawn. They all had blast on the slide.

Jasmine, taking her turn.

Laree and Trent, my sister and brother-in-law, and Rachel, another sister, is holding Oaklie, Laree's youngest.
This is Glen and Heather, our good friends.
G-G is so sweet. She went to the store in her power chair to buy these gifts for Jada. Jada loved being the center of attention.

Jada loves this tricycle. Even though she hasn't figured out how to pedal. She scoots herself up and down the street in front of our house.

She got a bloody nose from the slide. She so tough though. No tears.
We got up the next morning and had some more fun in the jumper before it was hauled away.

Getting Mia, Justin and Lauren from the Airport

Gramma Mia, Justin and Lauren flew in for Brian's wedding and we had the exciting privilege of picking them up. It was such a fun reunion for all of us. Notice the similar hair-cut. Kishawn was so determined to have his hair look like Uncle Justin's he took matters into his own hands. On more than one occasion he came out of the bathroom with bald splotches on his head from using Brad's razor. When we asked him why he did that, he said, "I wanna look like Uncle Justin."

Havin' fun on our Quad

We went to the dunes mid October. On our way there we stopped and bought a little quad for the kids. I didn't get any pictures from that trip, but we've taken some of us riding the quad around the back yard. Our yard now has a track worn through in the grass and I find I have to dust everyday now, but we have fun with it.Daddy and Jada goin' for a ride.Mommy and Jada.Uncle Sam came over and gave the kids some rides too.

Storytime with G-G (great-grandma)

G-G planned story time for the kids. She got "The Gingerbread Man" from the library and called a local bakery and had them bake and decorate some gingerbread men for us. The kids were so engrossed in the story and with her as she read.

They were so excited to find out that they got to have their own gingerbread men!

Our Train Ride

Last Saturday our family went on a train ride from the Glendale train station to Wickenburg and back. It was a first experience for all of us. We had a lot of fun. There were a ton of families and kids on the train. They had face painters, a clown making balloons for the kids, a magician and snacks for us. We look forward to going again next year.

Keyiona was playing with the camera.

Street Races With G-G

G-G (great-grandma) and all of us like to have races down our street. G-G and Jada ride together on her power chair and the rest of us are piled onto Kishawn's monkey bike and G-G's other wheel chair. It's quite fun. The neighbors even seem to enjoy the show too.

This is Kishawn's monkey bike. Reminiscent of a huge clown on a tiny bike isn't it.Jada love her rides with G-G. G-G likes to go out on late afternoon rides around the neighborhood and Jada is always there to crawl up on her and go along for the ride.

Keyiona at Gymnastics

We signed Keyiona up for gymnastics and she started last Saturday Nov. 3rd. She absolutely loved it and has asked me several times when she gets to go back. Her coach said that she really enjoyed working with her. She asked me if Keyiona always smiled that much. She wouldn't be our Keyiona if without a huge grin on her face. Here she is.
Jumping of the vault.
Doing a backwards roll.

This video is of her doing a flip over the bar. This was her very first time doing it. Her coach helped her a lot, but by the end of the class, she was doing it almost independently.
